Time flies when you’re setting the tone!
As we move further into 2026, I’ve been reflecting on an incredible milestone: I have been a resident DJ at Orla Restaurant within the Regent Santa Monica Beach since its debut in May 2025.
It has been an absolute honor to be part of this property’s journey from its grand opening to becoming one of the most celebrated luxury destinations in the world. Watching the space evolve while providing the daytime & nightly soundtrack has been a highlight as I transition into 2026.
A Year of World-Class Recognition
When I started this residency last May, we knew The Regent was special. But seeing the rest of the world catch on has been a thrill. Over the past year, the hotel has cleaned up on the 2025 "Best New Hotel" lists, securing top spots from the most respected names in travel:

Being the sonic architect for a venue that consistently hits these heights is a responsibility I don't take lightly.
The Orla Experience: More Than Just a Gig
Working alongside the team at Orla, Chef Michael Mina’s Mediterranean masterpiece, has allowed me to push my creative boundaries. Whether it’s playing to a crowd fresh from the Guerlain Spa or providing the energy for a high-profile dinner, the vibe at Orla is always sophisticated, attentive, and undeniably "Santa Monica."
My goal over the last year has remained the same: to create a seamless, upbeat, and atmospheric experience that mirrors the hotel's legendary service and luxurious design.
